Stay On Top of Your Data Sources

The geographic groups, referred to as system groups, are based on the administrative boundaries of local health areas (LHAs), health service delivery areas (HDSAs), Health Authorities (HAs), and BC overall. Upon registration, your aggregate data is automatically and anonymously added to the totals for these groups.

With our new and improved data sources, selecting the order of your data sources legend has never been easier. Let’s walk through how you can view your data within your clinic, your community, your Health Authority, and all clinics, and display them in the QI Panel.

  • Access Data Sources: Find the “Data Source” option in the main navigation menu.

  • Select Data Sources: From the “Data Sources List,” select yourself, your clinic, community, Health Authority and All Clinics.

  • Prioritize Your Sources:
    • Under “My Sources,” use the up and down arrows to prioritize your selected data sources.
    • For example, as shown in the image above, you should place “Me” before “My Organization,” and “Victoria and Vancouver Island HA” above “All Clinics.” Use the arrows to rearrange the data sources accordingly.

  • Save and View: Click “Save for this organization” and view the data from the QI Panel and a summary.

To learn more about the data sources, log in to your app and check the Help button, which features numerous articles and videos related to data sources.
