If you’re looking to delve deeper into the measures featured in the QI Panel, the Single Measure View offers a detailed exploration. This view aims to provide a consolidated overview of both the measure graph and its relevant metadata, enabling a larger view as you analyze or compare trends with your peers.  

Let’s take a walkthrough using the example of exploring prevalence data for Major Depressive Disorder as an HDC User: 

  • Accessing the Single Measure View Page: 
    • Under the QI Panel, select the Disease Prevalence domain and navigate to the Mental Health and Substance Use sub-domain. 
    • Locate the Major Depressive Disorder prevalence and click on the measure name. A similar screen as shown below will be displayed.
  • Exploration and Visualization: A detailed description of the measure is provided alongside the chart, enhancing the understanding of the measure details. By default, Line Charts are shown on the page.
    • Hover over the line chart to inspect data from all sources. Different quarters yield related results for all sources. 

    • Click on the Chart option on the right side of the graph to view your data in:  

      • Line Charts (Run Charts): Valuable for visualizing data over time, especially during improvement initiatives. Learn more about our Line Charts here.
      • Bar Charts: Useful for comparing values across various data sources at a single point in time. Learn more about our Bar Charts here

      • Distribution Charts: Presents your organization’s data in comparison to all other clinics within the HDC Discover application. Learn more about our Distribution Charts here. 

  • Tabs for Comprehensive Information: Once on the Single Measure View, you’ll find the information categorized into different tabs: 
    • Measure Description: Contains all measure metadata information, detailing the calculation methodology and associated parameters. 
    • Concepts and Logic: Encompasses all code systems linked to the measure.

  • Export Feature for Data Capture: Capture a snapshot of your data effortlessly with the Export feature from the Single Measure View. This feature facilitates easy result extraction without revealing any identifiable data, making it suitable for presentations or articles. Follow these steps: 
    • Select your measure of interest and navigate to the Single Measure View. 
    • Ensure the right chart, time option, and measure tab are selected for export. 
    • On the top right, select the Export link. A confirmation message will appear, assuring anonymization of all user data for privacy concerns. Once confirmed, the page will be exported into .jpg format and can be found within your computer Downloads.
