The Health Data Coalition (HDC) is happy to announce that the integration between TELUS Med Access and HDC Discover is now available. This means that all physicians that use Med Access across the province can enrol and gain unique perspectives on their practice as well as have full access to provincial data trends.

We are pleased to be able to share this good news in our first communication of 2020, and would like to congratulate all those who worked so hard to reach this milestone. As part of its commitment to support family practice and strengthen primary care, the General Practice Services Committee (GPSC) elected to fund this work, and the progress we’re able to announce today is a direct result of collaborative partnership between the Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health.

Of course, this milestone could not have been achieved without the partnership and cooperation of the team at TELUS Health.

Vice-President of TELUS Health Products and Strategy, Sanjay Cheridan shared, “The HDC Discover application will drive quality improvements in primary care by providing a province-wide view of primary care data. We are pleased to support  HDC in this important initiative to drive improvements in health outcomes for Canadians and enable better decision-making through information.”
