The Health Data Coalition (HDC) is pleased to announce the new integration between Juno EMR and HDC Discover. This latest adaptor means that family physicians and nurse practitioners using the Juno EMR across British Columbia (WELLSTAR Technologies’ cloud-based EMR designed for BC family physicians and nurse practitioners) can now enroll and gain access to enriched insights into their own practice, alongside broader community, regional and provincial primary care trends.
This milestone reflects HDC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening primary care through meaningful, system-wide data collaboration and further expands the growing network of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) partners contributing to a more connected health ecosystem. HDC is proud to welcome Juno EMR into its supported EMR network, marking another step forward in enabling family physicians and nurse practitioners to make more informed, data-driven decisions in everyday practice. With Juno EMR’s addition, WELLSTAR now has two EMR solutions, OSCAR Pro and Juno, integrated with HDC Discover, reflecting the company’s commitment to building a connected primary care ecosystem across Canada.
As part of the partnership, Paul Casey, President, Clinical Platform Group, WELLSTAR Technologies, shared:
“Juno EMR was built for BC’s primary care environment, and connecting it to HDC Discover is a natural extension of that commitment. When family physicians can see their own practice data alongside community and provincial trends, it changes how they approach patient care, and that’s exactly the kind of clinical intelligence we want to put in their hands. This integration reflects the broader vision driving WELLSTAR’s Clinical Platform Group: building an interconnected ecosystem where every EMR we offer strengthens care delivery.”
This collaboration with Juno EMR further strengthens HDC’s ability to support data-informed practices, while contributing to a more complete understanding of primary care and population health in our communities.
