What’s New?

Mental Health and Substance Use Measures

We’ve introduced new mental health and substance use measures and expanded age ranges for existing ones. These measures will help users better understand the impact of mental health and substance use across their panel. The addition of the child (0-12) and youth (13-19) age ranges, support the CYMH and Substance Use Community of Practice and the related UBC-CPD online module.

To access a specific measure, simply click on its name, and after logging in, you’ll be directed to the corresponding page within the HDC Discover application.

Alcohol Use Disorder

We’ve introduced a new measure in support of Health Quality BC’s Approaches and Pharmacotherapies for Patients Living with Alcohol Use Disorder (APPLAUD) action series. Together with our alcohol use disorder prevalence measures, this new measure offers insight into treatment patterns by identifying whether patients are prescribed guideline-based medications.
