Our founders envisioned a system where health care data is shared and transformed into knowledge and ultimately better patient care. The Health Data Coalition (HDC) is a physician-led data sharing initiative that encourages self-reflection and collaboration with colleagues, while facilitating quality improvement in patient care through its application HDC Discover.
HDC was established in April 2016 through a merger of AMCARE and the Physician’s Data Collaborative to support a network of physicians for the collaborative use of clinical data.
The HDC works with our partners to provide an integrated experience of practice improvements for physicians. HDC continues to strive to be the most trusted and reliable source of primary care clinical measures and will work collaboratively with key partners to nurture a learning healthcare system for the citizens of British Columbia.
Our Funders
Health Data Coalition is funded by the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC), a partnership between Doctors of BC and the Ministry of Health.
